14th November 2005 Windsurfing: Dahab Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 3 - 7 Surf / Sea State: flat ish Air Temperature: 30 c Sea Temperature: 20 Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: lots and l Kit used over week JP 120 xcite JP 105 xcite JP 95 xcite JP supercross 104 Sails 4.7 - 7.4 Rashvest and shorts all week The annual Brogborough trip to Dahab, new hotel and new windsurf centre this year The Dahabeya and Harry nash centre number 2 - straight in and out from the speed strip First day sailing on Tuesday went out on a 6.4 mega over powered came back and changed down to a well 4.7! first time using a waist harness so a bit interesting at times but soon got the hang of it. Watched Dave White doing some runs along the edge of the sandspit, dam hes quick I was having trouble hanging on to a 4.7 he was on a 7.4! he does weigh a bit more than me though. The rest of the week bar one day was all on 5.9 to 7.4 sails was nice to try some other boards out over the week Im a bit too lazy to write up loads so will just say An excellent week, good company, lots of food, lots of drink, and plenty of wind |
